It’s a family thing…

I grew up in a family of talented wood workers and carpenters. I still have, and use, my first 12 oz. hammer that my Dad bought me when I was eleven and wanted to help him on the job site of a house he was building. Building things has been in my blood.

Over the years, I have dabbled in carpentry and wood working. For the past 15 years, I have had an old US made Craftsman Table Saw sitting in my basement. It was my friend’s Dad’s saw that I was fortunate enough to be named the next caretaker of after he passed away. I was adamant that it was not going to be used for just any old projects. I was saving it for a proper woodworking shop.

It took a while, but after years of waiting, and many many hours of construction, I finally built that proper shop. In addition to that Craftsman Table saw, the shop is outfitted with several other vintage tools that remind us of a time where high quality was more important than mass quantities.

The items you will find in our  shop are not mass produced items using cheap materials and techniques. We take pride in each item that we make. We take the care and the time to pick materials that are a little unique and will add to the decor of your home or make that perfect gift for someone else’s home.
